The historic region in the central-western part of Ukraine, occupying the basin of the Pivdennyi Buh and the left tributaries of the Dnister. Podillia combines beautiful natural and historical monuments. Here, you will find the Kamyanets-Podilskyi fortress in the middle of the Smotrychi canyon, the flooded village of Bakota, and Zalishchyky peninsula in the bowl of the Canyon on the Dnister. The region has extensive railway infrastructure. Through this area narrow gauge railway Gauvoron - Rudnytsia runs with the length of the 78 km.
