The Ukrainian military reports on the breakthrough of the first line of defense of the Russian forces in the south of the country. The IAEA mission departed from Kyiv to the occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP to assess danger and establish a permanent representation. Mandatory evacuation is planned to be announced in part of the territories of Ukraine’s southern and eastern regions, in addition to the Donetsk region.

31 August — 01 September in Ukraine

Active hostilities continue in the south of Ukraine. Residents of the temporarily occupied and front-line towns keep leaving for safer places. On the 1st of September, the new academic year began in Ukraine. The educational institutions in the regions which are far away from the front line provide offline studying.

2-3rd September in Ukraine

The defence forces of Ukraine managed to repulse the enemy’s attacks in the eastern direction. Russia is systematically shelling Ukrainian cities. Global celebrities continue to support Ukraine. In particular, the lead singer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers rock band raised a Ukrainian flag during a concert in Miami.
