On the night of the 4th of September, Russian military shelled Mykolaiv with S-300 missiles, civil infrastructure objects were damaged. In one month, almost 10,000 people left Donechchyna as part of a mandatory evacuation (as of 26.08.22). The European Commission and Ukraine sign a new budget support program for 500 million euro.

6-7 September in Ukraine

Ukrainian defenders liberated several settlements in the south of the country from the occupiers. Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, appealed to the UN Security Council with a proposal to create a nuclear safety and protection zone at the Zaporizhzhia NPP. On the night of the 7th of August, Russian army launched a missile attack on Kharkiv.

September 8-9th in Ukraine

The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated more than 30 settlements in the Kharkiv direction. The State Emergency Service eliminates fires on peatlands near the capital. Children who suffered serious injuries during Russian shelling are being rehabilitated in specialized departments of clinics, particularly in Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital in Kyiv.
