The historic region in the northwestern part of Ukraine, in the basin of the Pripyat and Zahidnyi Buh rivers. Thousands of historical and urban monuments are preserved here, including Lubart Castle, Ostroh Academy, Tarakaniv Fort, Kremenetsky Castle. The famous picturesque corner is the dense corridor of trees near the village of Klevan, known as“the tunnel of love." Volyn is still a place where Samchyky paintings have been preserved, and all Ukrainian summer competitions in sledding take place.
